in the last 10 yrs the % of employed who r managers/senior officials/professionals is up 4% points whilst admin/secretarial is down 4%

1) 84% (2012) of 16 to 24 year olds are in full time education (1992 ='d 63%)

2) 19.5% (2012) of employment is with the public sector (1999 ='d 20%, in last 13 years the highest was 2.9% in 2009)

3) Of those employed the % classified as managers, senior officials or professionals is up 4% points (2001 ='d 26%, 2012 ='d 30%)


4) Of those employed the % classified as admin and secretarial is down 4% points (2001 ='d 14%, 2012 ='d 10%)


5) Of those employed the % classified as skilled trades has decreased by 2% points from 12% (2001) to 10% (2012)

6) Of those employed the % classified as personal services has increased by 2% points from 7% (2001) to 9% (2012)

7) The % working 16 up to 30 hours a week has increased a third (1992 ='d 13.5%, 2012 ='d 20.2%)

8) The % of men working 16 up to 30 hours a week has more than doubled (1992 ='d 4.1%, 2012 ='d 10.1%)


9) The % of women working 16 up to 30 hours a week has also increased (1992 ='d 25.1%, 2012 ='d  31.8%)
