2min 13sec clip - Spin Launch Flight Test #10 - The First Payloads
text from youtube "On September 27, 2022, SpinLaunch completed its tenth Suborbital Accelerator Flight Test, successfully launching payloads from NASA, Airbus U.S., Cornell University, and Outpost.
The Flight Test demonstrated that SpinLaunch partners’ standard satellite components are inherently compatible with the company’s launch environment - as all payloads were pre-tested to high-g loads, flown on the Suborbital Accelerator and recovered successfully.
The payloads onboard SpinLaunch’s Flight Test Vehicle also captured critical launch and flight test data key to validating and commercializing SpinLaunch’s Suborbital and Orbital Launch Systems."

3min 10sec clip - In the #Blink of an Eye: Space in an Instant
found voa a boingboing email
text from youtube "When we look up at night, the universe seems pretty quiet. But that perspective is an illusion; in reality, there are millions of world-shattering events happening every instant across the cosmos. This short film explores just how much is going on every moment in our ridiculously enormous universe.
In the fraction of a second it takes to blink your eyes, thousands of stars will be born, hundreds will explode and die, millions of planets will form, and our universe will expand by half a million kilometers in diameter.
And these numbers only account for the observable universe -- not for what could be happening beyond, where some scientists believe there could be an infinite expanse of space.
Think next time you blink."
