Farida talks about how algorithms position us
- how the algorithms make themselves more visible when something breaks ("ruptures"),
- how the workings of algorithms are in part reflections of the humans who make and design them (so objects within a cultural political context)
- how whilst invisible most of the time, such ruptures offer important opportunities to think about how algorithms increasingly mediate our lives and realities.
